The mandate of the Fraser Valley Christian Junior Hockey Association is to provide a venue for male Christian youths who do not play in any other organized league for a variety of reasons, (such as Sunday play, ability, or performance), to play ice hockey.

The goal of the Association is to provide a team sport that is played in a Christian environment, with a primary focus on fun and a secondary focus on competitiveness. It is a hockey association that will promote good attitudes and sportsmanship. It will be a non-contact league that will promote and encourage skill-based play and player development from the time a player will participate in the league. It will offer an alternative to Minor Hockey by providing a fun, competitive, challenging game in a positive Christian atmosphere.

Join us on March 23, 2024 for an afternoon and evening of family fun at MSA Arena in Abbotsford. It's a great opportunity to support the incredible work that Bethesda does.

Participate in the rubber duck toss during intermission in each divisional game for a chance to win prizes. All proceeds from this contest go directly to supporting Safe Families Canada.

We have been finalizing teams for the upcoming season, and at the time of this post all Divisions except A Division are rostered. It appears that the information is now working on both the app and the website, so you should be able to access team info and the schedule via the Sports Engine app as well as via our website: https://www.fvcjha.com/seasonschedule.

Through this link you will find Game, Schedule, Stats, and Team Rosters. You should be able to simply open your app and your team that you son was placed will be there. If it isn't, you may need to be added the team.

Please note that all schedule and team info will be through this link going forward: https://www.fvcjha.com/seasonschedule. This is a change from our hosting company, and we are confident that they are ironing out the last few wrinkles to make this a simpler and more streamlined option.

We are also working on finalizing our Regular Season Schedule, and we will let you know once it's completed. Please note that Evaluation Game stats will be separate from our Regular Season stats.

As an FYI, during or shortly after the completion of the Evaluation Games there may be a few team adjustments, as determined by our Coaches and Division Reps. You will be notified if your child is traded. Our intention is to keep game play fun and teams as even as possible, and the Evaluation Games help us to determine if this is necessary.

Our league divisions are based on the grade your son is entering at the beginning of the season (and not by year of birth) as follows:

Division C: Grade 4, 5 and 6

Division D: Kindergarten, Grade 1, 2 and 3
